Mission Statement

Our mission is to establish and maintain proactive relationships and open lines of communication with vested persons to address their questions and concerns to improve the quality of life in all neighborhoods. By dispelling rumors, disseminating accurate information, and working collaboratively with law enforcement and community-based organizations we can better work with those living and working in the City of New York. Our 88th Precinct Youth Council, inc. was established to foster positive and productive police-community relations.

About This Cause

We provide organizational support, for youth, senior engagement, and NYPD colloboration and support. We encourage community involvement in public safety issues, and quality of life conditions, promote awareness of law enforcement efforts, identify resources, and foster community leadership when necessary. We strive towards empowerment and the development of a caring community and a caring 88th Precinct. Security, public safety, and quality of life concerns for our community are not so impossible if we keep the channels of communication open. Our objective is to actively pursue ever-improving quality through programs and open dialogue that enable the community and the police department to work together good-naturedly.
